How to make your own scented candle using essential oils
It has been on my mind for a while to learn how to make candles. Candles are wonderful and simple additions to any home not only as beautiful decor items together with a matching candle holder, but they add warmth and cosiness to a space as well. They bring the fire element into a home - the element that brings energy into the home, keeps the spirit of the home alive.
To 'upgrade' the experience it is even better if the candles are scented. As they release their fragrance they fill up the home with different energy and feelings - they can be calming, energising, stimulating, invigorating, etc.
You can obviously buy scented candles in many shops but what if you make your very own candle? It apparently is not a rocket science, you can make them really easily with a few supplies and a little bit of know-how. If you buy them make sure they are scented with pure aromatherapy oils and not with synthetic ones. If you yourself make it the advantage is that you are in charge what goes into your candles. But first check whether you or anyone living together with you are sensitive to the fragrance you would want to use. The best is to use organic supplies and ingredients even if they are a bit more expensive. Your health is worth it!
